Basketball is a team sport. Two teams of 12 players each try to score by shooting a ball through the opposing team’s basket 10 feet in the air at each end of the court. The team who scores the most points are the winners. A player moves the ball around the court by passing, bouncing, throwing, rolling or dribbling.
