Archery

A sport of practice, skill, bows and arrows

An Introduction

Archery involves shooting arrows at a target. The aim is to fire your arrows as close to the centre of the target as possible – the bullseye. The closer to the centre, the higher the score. It is a sport of skill and precision. In the Olympics, competitors shoot from a distance of 70 metres.

Using the facility

Although we can accommodate archery at Harlington in our Sports Hall, we do not permit the public to partake on their own accord for safety reasons. However, if you have the correct qualifications and are interested in setting up a club or running an event here, please get in touch.
