Sporting Activity Guidance
Please find below the guidance information in relation to how sporting activities can take place during Tier Three.

GYM
Our Gym will operate as per our CovidSecure Protocols – pre-booked sessions, with no more than 6 participants per hourly sessions.
BADMINTON
Effective from 2nd December 2020
- Adults – same household or support bubble only
- Singles and doubles for disabled players and U18s in supervised activity

BASKETBALL
Effective from 2nd December 2020
- Elite competition and training – BBL, WBBL, NBL Division One, WNBL Division One, EABL, WEABL (RTP Level 2). Elite level is defined by government and detailed in Appendix 5 of the RTP document HERE.
- Non-elite senior can only train indoors with members of their households or support bubbles. No competition is permitted
- Junior competition and training – Jnr. NBL and local league for U18s and younger (RTP Level 2).
- Educationally-based training and Competition – Schools, colleges (AoC Sport, ABL) for U18 players. For players over 18, Non-elite rules apply.

VOLLEYBALL
Effective from 2nd December 2020
- Organised volleyball and beach volleyball can continue to take place outdoors.
- Sitting volleyball training can continue to take place outdoors.
- Indoor volleyball must comply with the rule of household, so can only be played between those from the same household or support bubble. [UPDATED] Exemptions still apply for U18s*, disabled athletes and sport for educational purposes. Supervisors and coaches are allowed into junior sessions, but spectators are not.
- People should not travel either out of or into an area that falls into the VERY HIGH category for sport. [UPDATED] Exemptions apply for U18s*, disabled athletes and sport for educational purposes, whereby participants may travel out of or into the area but only for the purpose of sport. Please take a responsible approach to travel and wear a facemask.

TABLE TENNIS
Effective from 3rd December 2020
- Adults only able to play with someone from their own household or support bubble
- Adult local league play not possible at this tier level
- U18s and Disabled People allowed to play in bubbles of 15 and U18 competitions/junior leagues can also take place
